DECEMBER Avance Heart Auction call for artists Artists are being sought for the 8th annual “Toma Mi Corazon/Have a Heart” auction though Jan. 12. Wooden hearts may be picked up beginning Oct. 9 at Avance, 616 Virginia during regular office hours. El Paso Scene will sponsor a “Heart of El Paso” award for the heart that best represents the Spirit of El Paso, and winning entries will be featured on the February 2009 cover.
